The Cincinnati area has three of the Best Cities in Ohio. According to MoveTo.com Montgomery, Blue Ash, and Mason ranked in the top 10 cities to live in in Ohio.  To arrive at this ranking the research team used U.S. Census Bureau to find municipalities with a population of more than 10,000. They then began to rank the 173 place across the State based on a set of criteria, ranking the cities and towns from one to 173 across a set of criteria, where the lowest score was the best score. To arrive at a final ranking they aggregated the individual criteria ranks.  A number of Cincinnati area cities showed up in the top 10!

What were those criteria? We looked at seven unique pieces of data. These were:

1. Total amenities
2. Quality of life (cost of living, median home price, median rent, median household income, and student-to-teacher ratio)
3. Total crimes
4. Tax rates (sales tax and income tax)
5. Unemployment
6. Commute time
7. Weather (temperature and air quality)
